Aurelijus Burokas
Aurelijus Burokas received his PhD in Biomedicine at Pompeu Fabra University (Spain) and carried out his post-doctoral research at the Neurogastroenterology Lab at APC Microbiome institute, Cork College University (Ireland). Now he is a research professor at Life Sciences Center, Vilnius University, Lithuania. He leads the microbiota-gut-brain axis research applying animal models, different modulations of the gut microbiota, molecular and cell biology techniques.
